AAP candidate in Kalkaji, Delhi Chief Minister, Atishi has launched a crowdfunding campaign that aims to raise 40 lakh for her electoral campaign. Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, she posted the link guiding the citizens to donate to her party that promises honesty and progress.
Atishi pointed out that AAP collects donation from the public, unlike other political parties, so that its work remains on the forefront and everything remains transparent. discharging her last words as a mayor of Delhi she thanked the residents for their support over the period.
Over the past 5 years, you’ve stood by me as an MLA, a minister, and now as the Chief Minister of Delhi. None of this would have been possible without your blessings and support.

X Atishi said, Today, I wanted to say thank you for the support you have shown to me for the last 5 years not only as an MLA but as a minister and now as the Chief Minister of Delhi. I owe my political journey to your belief and your donations. And now, as we are moving toward another election I once again appeal to you for the support.
Campaigning under electoral erasures
The campaign is being launched as the Delhi assembly elections are slated for February 5 next year. AAP, which now needs a third term, may well be in for a stiff competition. The party had noteworthy successes in the Delhi state earlier and those are the intent of the party to maintaining supremacy.
What AAP is doing with crowdfunding is not new either. A similar campaign in December was launched by the minister Manish Sisodia for his Jangpura experiment where AAP’s strategy of publicly raising funds for his elections were put on display.
Criticism of BJP
Atishi also criticized the BJP as they have not declared their CM candidate yet. She alleged that reliable sources including newspapers have information that controversial personality Ramesh Bidhuri is their nominee.
Election Dynamics
AAP will be in the contest for all the 70 seats in Delhi Assembly polls. The BJP wants to make a breakthrough while Congress itself is in INDIA opposition alliance but will not form an alliance with AAP in Delhi.
Polls to the 70-member Assembly will be held on December 4 and the outcome will be declared on February 8.
