The movie Game Changer starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani has recorded a great opening for the movie at box office; the gross collection of the movie in India on the opening day stands Rs 51.25 crore as per Sacnilk.com. This is, however, Ram Charan’s first film in a solo avatar since RRR or his comeback to the theaters after five years.
The Telugu version had a major chunk of it with Rs 42 crore and the Hindi version had Rs 7 crore on its account. The Kannada version came up with Rs 0.1 crore while the Malayalam version added 0.05 crores. The starring cast of the film directed by Shankar comprises S. J. Suryah, Nassar, Brahmanandam, Kishore, and Murali Sharma, which added a great deal of attention in Indian film industry.
In a press interaction in Mumbai, Ram Charan said that working with Shankar is a dream for him and Shankar is the very director who defines commercial films.
Also released on the same day were Sonu Sood starrer Fateh which could open to only Rs 2.45 crore. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s *Pushpa 2: The Rule* remains a local favorite noticing it’s presence after six weeks of its release.
There has been concerns from the social critic for Game Changer on Game Changer. Taran Adarsh has given 3 ½ stars on the film and he said it is completely predictable but at the same time quite entertaining. He stated that Ram Charan did it well, he said, “It’s a #RamCharan show… It’s not the best of #Shankar but is entertaining enough to keep you hooked to your seats.” Film analyst Sumit Kadel also praised Game Changer calling it a visual treat and one among the most political films made in India with a brilliant interface of the flash back.
People have liked the film a lot and many people considers it as “Blockbuster hit” and “Perfect Sankranti gift”. The collections *Game Changer* has been able to make at the box office and word of mouth, has got itself a sure shot hit this festive season.
