Allu Arjun’s latest blockbuster, Pushpa 2: Its extraordinary box office performance is making waves around the world with The Rule series. The action packed sequel with Rashmika Mandanna debuted with a historic first day on Thursday and maintained it winning streak on the second day.

The Hindi version accounts for ₹65-67 crore out of ₹175.1 crore net at the box office on opening day with ₹175.1 crore at the box office on Nov 5. This is the biggest opener in the Hindi belt, breaking previous records held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. The Film grossed ₹203 crore on Day 1 globally.

The advance bookings have helped the film immensely bagging 4 lakh tickets booked on the first day in multiplexes and pre sales close to ₹50 crore. Pushpa 2 has already sold 2.25 lakh tickets in the top three multiplex chains, making it a box office juggernaut by Friday.

The film is expected to witness a slight dip in collections on Friday, but is expected to take in ₹120-140 crore on Friday. Industry experts believe that the Hindi version could register another ₹50 crore day, despite strong spot bookings, largely in mass market centres.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The outrageously named Pushpa Rule is the sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise. The film is on course to set records during its four day opening weekend with Friday evening seeing a surge in collections. If it continues like this, it may even break the all time high for Indian cinema.

Pushpa 2 is so much more than just a sequel, it is a cinematic phenomenon that has stellar performances, gripping action, an enthusiastic fanbase and what’ more?
