By Day 8, the film made ₹80 lakh in India*, representing a -56.76% reduction* from the ₹1.85 crore* on Day 7. At the same time, overseas box office improved, and contributed ₹1.25 crore to the total. However, to date, the film has not yet recouped production costs.
Performance Trends and Challenges
The movie had an opening collection of ₹5.5 crore, which was considered a decent start. However, it failed to maintain momentum, with its highest single-day collection recorded on the first Sunday at ₹7.25 crore. Since then, its profits have been slowly eroding to the point where a major box office hit might be difficult to maintain.
The weakness of the film may be traced to criticisms, competition from other releases, and audience involvement less than the rated expectations.
