Law Student Falls to Death in Noida: Police Investigate Tragic Incident

A Ghaziabad law student fell to his death from a 7th-floor apartment in Noida. Police are probing foul play and awaiting post-mortem results.

A tragic accident was reported in Noida when Tapas a law student of Ghaziabad died after falling off the apartment in sector 99 from the seventh floor. The information was acquired by the paper when the event happened during a party held at Supreme Towers with a friend. Police has been notified right away and the remains have been taken for an autopsy.

Where, When and How?

Tapas, an LLB student at a private university in the power-tool capital of the developing world: Noida, was at the apartment attending to a function when the tragedy struck. The cause of his death to date is still unknown and various efforts have been made to establish the actual cause of his death.

Ongoing Investigation

The police of the Noida Commissionerate have confirmed that the family of Tapas has been informed and friends of the man are being interrogated to find out the cause of the fall. Officials are not ruling out foul play,and the police have promised to take legal action depending on the results and the complaint of the family.

Other Occurrences in the Zone

  • November 2024: A 13-year-old boy fell from the 14th floor in Greater Noida West, ruled an accident.
  • March 2024: An 18-year-old girl fell from the 18th floor in Noida Extension while watering plants.
  • June 2023: A 21-year-old engineering student allegedly died by suicide from the eighth floor in Lotus Boulevard society.

Authorities’ Appeal

The Noida Police have also appealed to the residents of the high rise apartments to take some precaution and report any Antoxian like movement. The probe is ongoing, with police waiting for the autopsy report in order to understand if the fall was an accident or if there are some other issues at play.

Through Tapas’ death, the lesson is learned concerning high-raise safety and should call for questions concerning issues to do with safety and mortality in such buildings.
